Our stay at Northwoods Cabins in Pinetop, Arizona was absolutely incredible. We booked several cabins for our wedding weekend, and it turned out to be the perfect home base for our family and friends. From the very beginning, Lola helped plan everything with such care and attention—she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled and that our stay would be perfect. We are so grateful for her!

The owner, Ray, and his family were equally amazing. They were kind, thoughtful, and incredibly generous—even providing a tent and dance floor for our celebration. Their warmth made the entire weekend feel special and personal.

The cabins themselves were cozy, clean, and exactly what we needed. It truly felt like a retreat in the pines, perfect for both our wedding party and for any future family reunion or group getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or more caring people. Northwoods Cabins helped make our wedding weekend unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend!

Not only was this an incredibly peaceful environment, clean and cozy cabin, but much more than that... AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY owners! I tore the cornea on my eye at work and couldn't drive and was in a great deal of pain...the owner Darrellynn checked in on me and surprised me with an Incredible dinner and get well hug. Speaks volumes to how caring and genuine they are at Northwoods Cabins. Cancelled all my hotel reservations and switched to the cabins for the rest of my project in the area.! Love that place!

What a beautiful stay with the most delightful hosts. My kids and I traveled to Pinetop wanting to spend some time outdoors and celebrate a birthday - this place was perfect. Our hosts went out of their way to be proactive and make our stay memorable. Great recommendations of things to do and places to eat in the area. Lola reached out in advance to let us know the cabin would available early and when we asked about whether the firepit would be going the next day, she had smores kits prepared, ready for me and my kids to enjoy! Ray, the owner, introduced himself the first night and make sure we were taken care of. Raul kindly started the fire for us the second night and was available with a helping hand. Everyone was so nice. Our cabin was exactly as pictured, cozy and clean. My kids and I felt safe, like we were joining a community of friends with amazing work ethics. My kids are already asking when we can return. Thank for the memories and hope to be back very soon.

This was such a wonderful place to stay. Darrellyn(owner) was so amazing - warm, comforting, and welcoming. She even called to make sure that we were okay after we didn't make our initial 5 PM arrival. We felt right at home. The cabin was CLEAN - I am shouting this for the cheap seats in the back!!!
The staff made sure we had everything we needed. Just bring your groceries so you can bake all your favorites. The whole place is kid and pet friendly. This was really important to me since my oldest is a 13 year old Doberman. There is a fire pit where we got to meet our neighbors and laugh and sing under the stars. They even have a playground for the kids. We had the perfect view to watch them play from our front porch. We had everything we needed all in one place. They are close to everything and also a world away. Thanks again for the adventure and for helping us provide our kids with beautiful memories. We will be back!

We highly recommend staying at Northwoods Resort Cabin nestled in the Pinetop forest. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Randall and his adorable little dog, Buddy! Check in was easy and Randall (and his pup) escorted us to our cabin. The cozy cabin was absolutely perfect! It was clean, spacious, and it was well-equipped with all necessities that made us feel very much at home. In addition, the windows and back porch allowed excellent opportunities to watch wildlife and peaceful snowfall, and listen to the wind whispering to the pine trees that populate the property. During our stay, we took advantage of the hiking trails that are located on the grounds. The location of this resort is perfect because it is close to the lakes, eateries, and various attractions in the area.
Again, this is an ideal place to stay, especially for families with children (and pets, too). There’s so much to do here if you love nature. The owners and staff are beyond kind. A big “shout out” to Randall once again! He was nice enough to bring us lots of firewood when he heard me mention that I was cold and he even shoveled snow from our walk way, too.
P.S. We wanted to stay longer, but a storm approaching and we had to head back home:(

We loved this place! It's like your own little cabin in the woods even though it's close to restaurants, the museum, and the "birds of prey" show. Even though it was just the two of us, we enjoyed seeing a well-done playground for the kids and chairs set up around the campfire. We could just imagine being here with a group for a wedding or family reunion with everyone having their own spacious cabin and getting together in the afternoons or at night to share time around a cozy fire. Our cabin was great with a homey feel to it, comfortable bed and a hot tub/jacuzzi. Spending time out on the spacious deck was so peaceful, looking out on nature. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for those who don't want to eat out all the time. Northwards Cabins is one of those special places that you can make part of your family traditions.

My husband and I stayed here about a year and a half ago, (maybe two years ago) our first trip to pinetop. We live in Tucson, and I’m from Colorado, and I desperately needed that forest/cabin vibe again LOL.
Pinetop is my favorite place to get away for a staycation. I also LOVE this place. The owners were so friendly, and had no issue with my dog, Harley. She loves hiking and it’s too hot for her down here in Tucson to do that.
We don’t go away very often, and it meant the world to me to me that they are a dog friendly place. It’s so nice to be able to enjoy our vacation with your pups and create memories.
A few months later, I regretfully booked a stay in pinetop with another accommodation, and all my husband and I could think about was how much we missed Northwoods. We tried to not to let it ruin our trip, but I will NEVER book with another place AGAIN.
Northwoods made our stay perfect and I will continue to ALWAYS book with them in the future.
We have a trip planned up there next weekend and our event we had tickets got cancelled. We were so disappointed because they rescheduled to a date we are not able to go. Oh well!
We are just so looking forward to getting away and stay here again and know we will have a good time just because we are staying at Northwoods!!

Northwoods Resort was the perfect get-a-way. Our cabin was laid out well, spotless with tons of windows allowing the outdoors in, when wanted. Having the gas fireplace going the first night helped us wind down and set the tone for the rest of the trip. Being right next to National Forest was enticing and cut down on the overall noise level as did the construction of the cabin itself. I couldn't even hear my car arm itself when I locked it from inside the cabin. The resort is close to everything we needed , yet once you pull in, the tall trees and property layout made it feel as if you had stepped out of the world. Having a kitchen was invaluable with the restricted diet my wife and smallest child are on and having a gas grill on the large porch was perfect for fixing dinner together as a family. Bill was a great host, he was a pleasure to work with, had great suggestions, is relaxed and low key. Yellow Dog, the office rescue dog, was patient and did great with my 3 year old. I don't write a lot of reviews and hesitated to right this one, purely out of selfishness, the more people find out about Northwoods the harder it will be for me and my family to get in and get away.... Well deserved and well earned. Thank you!

Great cabins. The cabins are very cozy, with fire places and great scenery. There is a trail on back leading to woodland Reservoir and creek. About a .7 mile walk. They have a fire pit and play ground and are extremely pet friendly!!! They have a laundry room also. The people that run it are great our daughter feel and busted her lip they had great first aid kits and he even brought her gummy bears! Would definitely recommend to anyone! Extremely satisfied and will be returning!

My wife and I recently stayed at Northwoods Cabins and I have to say that we were overwhelmed with the property, from the dwellings themselves (more like full-fledged homes) to the walks in the woods to the fire pit. The facilities are well maintained. The proprietors were gracious and responsive. We gathered with several other couples to celebrate the birthday of one of our own and immensely enjoyed ourselves. Take in the hiking that abounds. The fire pit is a must do gathering point. The cabins are spacious and feature all the amenities one would expect for comfort and convenience. I highly recommend the Northwest Cabins, only please don't reserve them the next time I want to go or I will miss out! Check them out!

We held our family reunion there this past weekend. There were 70+ in attendance. We had reserved the entire resort. Everything was excellent. Owners and staff were amazing. Hope this will become our regular reunion spot.

We just did a group booking for our wedding at these cabins. Absolutely stunning location, cozy, welcoming, and clean canines. Amazing service, Lola is the sweetest and a phenomenal human. Ray & Maria were such a huge help as well and super accommodating ensuring the area looked nice and cleaned up for the ceremony. If you need somewhere it stay it’s here. Do it. Book it. You won’t regret it!

We just had our second family reunion here and we couldn't be more happy. Every year Ray and his staff Raul,and Lola have treated us like family and go above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable and well taken care of. The property is well maintained and tucked back with easy access to main road it also has a nice walking/bike trail to a beautiful creek. The location is perfect for those that love or want to explore the white mountains.

Great place to stay with family. The owners are amazingly friendly and helpful people, which made our trip more fun and they helped us with reservations and tips of what to do in the area each day. The campgrounds are really nice and the cabins are cozy and super clean. It has an old town feel. Again, the owners went out of their way to help us with any questions and even lent us chairs, a blanket, and gave us mosquito repellent for the kids. Just made everything easy. I recommend this location to any family. We will definitely go back and stay in these cabins again, very worth it!!

This was such a great place to stay. Warm, comforting, and welcoming. The couple that own these cabins are great people with such great hospitality. They made sure we had everything we needed. They are kid and pet friendly with clean cabins. There is a fire pit hot tub and BBQ area. They even have a playground for the kids. It was so wonderful to have everything we needed all in one place. They are close to everything ( stores, hiking fishing lakes gas station and a restaurant next door. In case you were wondering the cabins really do look like the pictures on their site. They are really that clean and comfortable.

Bill and Darrellyn are so amazing! Northwoods cabins is still a mom and pop owned, small town feel, peaceful place to stay. They live on the premises and are always helpful and quick to befriend you. Once you've stayed at Northwoods cabins you won't stay anywhere else in Pinetop. My wife and I love cabin 15. We've stayed there on several memorable occasions for us including last week for our honeymoon. Thankyou Bill and Darrellyn for making us feel like we've known yall for years!

My wife and I just returned from a memorable 60th birthday hoe down for a dear friend at Northwoods Cabins in Pine, Arizona, and we can't recommend it enough! This charming cabin resort is a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm, making it an ideal getaway in the beautiful Arizona wilderness.

The cabins are perfect for group gatherings, and we loved how cozy and well-equipped they were. It was the ideal setting for celebrating with friends and family.

Located conveniently for exploring Pinetop, Northwoods Cabins was a fantastic base for our adventures. Whether we were relaxing by the fire, hiking nearby trails, or just soaking in the natural beauty, our experience was unforgettable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at North Woods cabin resort ! It was the perfect choice for group lodging during our family vacation. The cabins were full of rustic charm and although there were many cabins, we still felt secluded in the trees. The best part was the entrance at the edge of the property to stunning hiking trails. Within a 45 minute hike, we spotted a family of deer, found a beautiful stream fed by a natural spring, and got a great family photo on a bridge down stream. We look forward to our next adventure in Pinetop lodging at North Woods Cabins!

We loved our weekend away in the pines! Thank you so much to Bill and Co. for giving my large group a place to call home for a couple of days! The cabins were perfect and homie (we stayed in the honeymoon cabin) and the property was perfect and inviting. There was enough room for everyone to spread out and not be on top of each other but then small enough to find each other. We spent the night by the bonfire and enjoyed the peaceful and quiet setting of Pinetop! The location was perfect. You are close to all the cute shops and eateries but feel tucked away from it all. We hope to go back next year!

We stayed in Cabin 14, which turned out to be the Honeymoon cabin, and I highly recommend it. We had a great feeling of privacy and a wonderful view of the woods. There is a series of loop trails right off the property that we enjoyed, and I really loved the green speckled lights in the trees through the area...it was like little fireflies were in the tree tops; so beautiful. We were close to everything, including Showlow Lake where we rented a kayak and spent time on the water. The cabin came with more than we could have expected: all the appliances, silverware and cups, a TV with cable, jacuzzi tub, a grill on the amazing patio, and great wifi.

We had a great time at the cabin. Ray and Maria are great people and there to help if needed. Everything was there at the cabin that we needed to make it a great stay. The bed is comfortable and the jacuzzi tub is so relaxing. Everything you could imagine is in the area for shopping and food. We will definitely come back when we are in the area. We have stayed at a few other cabins in the area and this was by far the best.

The natural setting of these charming and cozy cottages made the perfect mtn. getaway that I needed. The owners made us feel right at home and were so helpful and informative. It was clean and comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen had all that we needed to cook up all the fish we could catch. If you rather eat out, there's a wide variety of places including a local brewery with awesome BBQ. But back to the room.....Hot water in seconds and plenty of water pressure to wash off the dirt of the day (and the shampoo out of my hair). If that wasn't enough, the fireplace was soothing to fall asleep to or to take the chill off the morning. Coffee on the patio with the birds and squirrels started another beautiful day. Already planning a return back !!

A great place to stay and feel comfortable. I have been returning to Northwood Resort since 2002. The location is perfect to head out for my fishing outings with proximity to everything you need. Love the old school feel of the cabins and enjoy each return as I try to visit three to four times of the year. My family often enjoys coming up at the same time. I give high praise to the owners Bill and Darylnn as they have always welcomed us back. Give Northwoods a try and I am sure you will be back.

I've been staying at these cabins one weekend a month for the past few months and absolutely love it here. I would definitely recommend staying in these cabins. As a country girl who grew up in Wisconsin, these cabins remind me a lot of the cabin my parents owned when we would go up north. The amenities offered justify the price if you're worried about that. Full kitchens with plates, silverware, and everything else supplied. The bedrooms have high-quality beds, a dresser, and nice large closet. The living room has a comfy recliner and sofa with a nice fireplace, where wood is supplied in the back of the cabin for individual use. The porches have grills on them so you can grill out whenever you want too. I hope you enjoy these cabins as much as I have and continue to each month.

We stayed 3 nights and loved it. Would for sure stay again! We stayed in cabin 2 across from the playground and our kids loved that they could go out and play the whole time. We walked to the creek and the lake behind the property. It was beautiful! The details in the cabin show how much they put into the property, I loved the hummingbird feeder on each cabin. The owners were super nice offered to lend us different things to make our visit greater! I would recommend the stay to my friends and family.The cafe next door had amazing food as well!

We went up with my 7yr old son. We all had a great time! He loved the playground. We were very surprised and impressed at how clean the cabin was! This was our first time up here and Darrellyn was very accommodating and helpful on what to do to make the best of our stay!! We were able to stay until that Monday since my son had online school due to Covid. The wifi worked flawlessly! He didnt miss a thing and we got to stay longer! Thank you all again for a great stay. We will definitely be back soon!

My wife and I recently spent a weekend in Cabin 3. What a wonderful experience it was! WE needed a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle that is our busy life as teachers, and this was just what we needed. The jacuzzi was close by and was a great end to a tressful day. The trail access to Woodland Lake Park make hiking along the stream easy to do. We LOVED having the back porch that is a feature of ONLY Cabin 3. Lola in the office is a hoot! She'll know who is writing this review for sure :). All in all we look forward to making another weekend trip to the White Mountains and we'll be sure to make a reservation for Cabin 3 when we do.

My husband and I stayed this weekend in cabin 8 and it was awesome! The staff were terrific and so friendly and helpful! The cabin was lovely with all the amenities we needed! It was private, quiet, and completely relaxing. We were steps from the trail heads which took us to some of the most beautiful backwoods around and we spent lots of time at the lake (walking distance)! Our dog loved it too! Wonderful place! If you enjoy renting your own little cabin in the woods, fully furnished with dishes etc., peaceful setting, and the owner is such a great lady, then this is the place for you! I have zero complaints. There is a volleyball court in the back, a playground if you have children, hiking trails located at the back of the resort, your own grill on the porch, frisby golf, horsehoes, a laundry facility on site, conveniently located in pinetop where there are restaurants and stores within walking distance, but a quiet location and setting that is so vomfy and cozy and calm! I loved it!

I was visiting Lakeside to attend my friend's wedding and decided to stay here during my trip. The owner was really nice and rented mea cabin near the back of the resort. The cabin was very spacious, had thermostats in each of the rooms, and much of the furniture/appliances/upholstery looked brand new. It had a fully-functional kitchen, and a descent TV setup with a basic cable subscription. The bedrooms had high-quality beds, as well as a dresser and large closet. The bathroom was very pleasant as well, and had a heater that you could use to warm it. Outside was a new propane grill, and a long deck that guests could lounge on.

It was very quite outside during my stay, which was great because I was trying to relax during my vacation. I was very happy with the price of the cabin, and would definitely rent from Northwoods Resort again.

My husband and I stayed here during a wedding ceremony. We stayed for two days and had an absolute blast. The cabins were so cute and inviting. It was so cold out but the fireplace and heaters were terrific. Each room had their own thermostat and the kids were in heaven. The porch was cute and we grilled sausages and Brannon the porch with friends and family. We went for a walk in the forest on some really nice trails and the dogs were having such fun too. The local area had everything we needed including the best restaurants. Thank you, Ray… we had a wonderful time.

Bill and Darrellyn were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed this past weekend in cabin 15 and it was extremely clean, simply decorated, very comfortable, and had a wonderful porch. We also noticed that the other guests seemed to be very happy with their choice of Northwoods. While I would like to keep this little place a secret, I know it is only fair to say we were very happy we chose to stay at Northwoods Cabins and are planning our return.

Wen stayed in Cabin #1, and it was so enjoyable! We had to bring our small dog, and the cabin was perfect. Very clean, which can be "iffy" at places that allow pets. Not so with this place - it was spotless. The bed was so comfortable, I almost slept better than I do at home. Location was great; walking distance from Darbi's (our favorite breakfast restaurant in Pinetop) and Safeway. I really highly recommend this place if you are staying in Pinetop. Will definately stay again when we make the trip with our little pooch.

We came to Northwoods Cabins for a group birthday celebration, and it was the perfect spot for a friends-and-family gathering! Each cabin gave us just the right amount of personal space, while still offering a cozy central area to come together for meals and quality time. The location is ideal—close to town for convenience, yet it backs up to the national forest, making it easy to step out and enjoy peaceful hikes in nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway with a group!

The place itself is awesome but the service is amazing, whatever you are into this place has it, loved the hiking trails right on the resort and all the amenities are a plus when you are trying to relax but still entertain everyone, the kids enjoyed the playground when outdoors and the board games when indoors. Adults enjoyed the hot tub under the stars and the fire ring was a hit!! Will recommend the place and can't wait to come back.

This resort made my first trip to Pinetop-Lakeside a memorable one. Bill, the innkeeper, is an awesome guy who was a great help in answering any questions I had. My cabin was clean and the scenery outside my cabin was beautiful. I highly encourage anyone looking to stay in a cabin to check out Northwoods Resort for your next trip. Definitely would stay with them again on my next trip 🙂 .

We stayed here earlier this year and absolutely loved it. Our cabin was cozy and clean and had everything we needed. Loved the wood burning fireplace! We esp. enjoyed walking the hiking trails and watching the birds and wildlife while sitting on our porch with our coffee. The owner and his wife were very friendly and always offering to help with anything we needed. Very quiet and peaceful location. We would highly recommend.

These cabins are exactly what you’d expect cozy, clean, and full of cabin charm. They have an old-school style rather than a modern feel, which really adds to the cabin experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
We were driving back from a national boxing tournament and needed a place to relax and unwind for a night before continuing our travels. Cabin 11 comfortably fit our entire team and athletes. Highly recommended!

Recently stayed here with my wife for a few days. Came in late due to an unexpected emergency en route. Suggestion: take extra care driving at night and use your bights as much as possible. Management understood and allowed the late check in.

The management has been great, the rooms were clean and the rooms were well stocked. The kitchen had plenty of essentials to cook meals. Great location, decent price and beautifully kept grounds. This place will be our go-to cabins.

Love this place. They think of all the little things that make it better. The gas grill, fireplace at a flip of a switch, flat screen tv wifi that works great. They don't let it get run down like the competition. Beds are comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen. Clean as well. Walking to Darby's and hiking trails. Playground, frisbee golf, volleyball, horseshoes .They offer so much highly recommend.

A very quiet and pleasant location with a family friendly atmosphere. Very clean and cozy cabins for parties of all sizes. Pets allowed. Trail access for hiking. Beautiful scenery. A playground for children. Hot tub and bon fire access. Laundry facility. You can't find any place better for the same very affordable price!

Our new favorite place to stay in Pinetop-Lakeside! Perfect location with plenty of restaurants and hiking trails close by. Cabin was super clean and well stocked with everything we needed during our 4-night stay. The owners are really nice people and will do everything they can to make sure you have a great stay. It was our first time here and we loved the place. Darrellyn is a wonderful host. Next time I want to sit by the campfire and play guitar with Bill. We also like to photograph Wildlife and hike. This place is perfect for all of that. It’s walking distance from good restaurants and a brewery. What else could you want.

The cabin we slept in can sleep 20 people if needed 3 bed rooms with 2 queen beds ,1 room with a king,a pull out coach ,two reclinable chairs,2 full baths one with a hot tub main floor bathroom,with a 1/4 bath on main level as well and a full bath on 2nd level.A full size living room with a fully equipped kitchen, ( all utensils include blender,drink pitcher,dishes,silverware,toaster,
electric can opener, microwave, Bowles, pots and pans),gas fireplace in living room. A BBQ for grilling.Oweners are amazing very freindly,and family oriented they have a play ground for the young ones, they are pet friendly just one thing when you call you need to let them know dogs needs to be in a kennel,cats Im not sure of you would have to ask.Very clean inside and out.stayed 2/3/18 until 2/5/18.

My family has had our annual family reunion here for a couple years now and as big as our family is, we have rented out the whole place when we come. The owners and staff are very helpful, welcoming, and truly allow our family to have a great weekend together. The variety of cabins are spacious and cozy. You will enjoy your stay here whether you are coming as a couple, small family, or larger gathering.

I was looking for a quiet place in the woods to unwind, and Northwoods Cabins in Pinetop was exactly what I hoped for. The setting feels tucked away and peaceful, surrounded by trees and nature but it’s still close enough to town for restaurants and amenities. Lola was incredibly kind and attentive to anything we needed, which made the stay even better. If you want that “in-the-woods” experience without giving up comfort or convenience, I highly recommend staying here!

Very accommodating owners, friendly and there when you need them.
My cabin was clean and well equipped. The grounds were beautiful and thoughtfully organized. I especially like the feeders for the woodland critters and birds. Gave me up close views. The lake and hiking trails are close by, very refreshing to be able to walk in 60 degree temperatures. Quiet at night, I felt safe and secure! Pet friendly which is important to me!

What a great place to stay! We came up for the weekend to get away from the city and felt so recharged! The cabins are conveniently located off the highway but once on the property, you feel like you’re away in the woods. We accessed hiking trails right from the property. The trails were well marked and took us to a cute creek and around a lake. We’ll definitely be back!

This is my first time renting a cabin here in Pinetop, and I absolutely loved Northwoods Cabins! The cabins are clean, homey, and have a relaxing cabin feel. The property is clean and easy to navigate. What I loved the most about my visit is the amazing and welcoming customer service from the owners. They made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, and are some of the nicest people to talk with you will ever meet! I will definitely be back soon with friends and family!!

This place is absolutely perfect. The owners of the property go above and beyond for their guests. My Husband and I wanted to get married in the woods and we had the most perfect wedding there. All of our guests stayed at the cabins for the weekend and it made our wedding weekend that much better! 11/10 reccomend.

Even tho there was a mix up through Airbnb with cabin rental the host was amazing Darrellyn was very helpful and such a joy to deal with. She help provide us with whatever needed! Absolutely beautiful locations nestled in the pines but walking distance to restaurants. The cabins are very clean and the owner Darrellyn is very sweet. She truly loves her cabins by the way cares for them. Access to White Mountain trail system from the property. A 2 minute hike to the creek or a 1 mile hike to Woodland Lake. The paths are well mark.

Just got back from a girls 5 day stay, and we just loved this place. Cabin 12 was very roomy and had all the ammenaties you could need for a large group. The owners were great, and fulfilled additional needs we had. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

I loved the cabin we stayed in.. it was so very nice and clean, the cabin had everything.. it was so cozy, and the gas fireplace was amazing and very romantic.. Groomed Forest Trails right out the door, walk to & around the lake probably 4 miles +-. The cabin was clean, the owners go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. Central location makes it easy to explore and shopping for essentials handy. We will be back next year.

Beautiful place! The cabins are always clean and stocked with basics (soap, plates, silverware, etc). They have cabins that are pet friendly, but they also have some cabins they don't allow pets in for people who are allergic. The staff is super nice too.
My favorite part is that there are hiking trails you can walk to from the cabin. If you don't want to get in your car, you don't have to. You can walk here!
We also love the restaurants in town.

This cabin resort is perfectly situated to hike right out your cabin door or drive 1-2 mins to the grocery store. The cabins have everything needed for a get away weekend or for group lodging. This is one of the best places to stay in Pinetop!

We had a great time property was beautiful cabins were very comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. Owner was really nice and everyone on staff was very friendly. Hiking trail on the property. Pet friendly are dog had a great time.

We had a great time, property is in a great location within town but feels like the middle of the forest. The cabins are fully functional with a kitchen, dining area, patio's etc... Loved it.
Look forward to returning soon and the owners are super nice folks that were on site and very cool to hang out with!

This was our first time and we already can't wait to go back. First the owners are the nicest people and very helpful on things to do. Our cabin was very clean and very welcoming. The campground was kept very clean. Very nice all the around very welcoming to our pets as well.we look forward to our next visit there.

We stayed in cabin 10. Its a 2 bedroom 1 bath and was perfect for my daughter and I. Cabin was clean and so was the property. Front desk was very friendly. Definitely a great place to stay. Highly recommended.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in cabin 14. The cabin was extremely clean and had a wonderful view from the covered patio. We enjoyed being able to cook meals during our stay. We highly recommend staying here. We will be going back next year! Thanks for a wonderful stay!😀

We have stayed at these cabins for years and it's been a hit every time. We were surprised to see new owners but they were great hosts and it was just as cozy and comfortable as before. I can tell the new ownership takes pride in maintianing a homey and welcoming feel. Highly recommend this place!

The owners are the absolutely nicest people. My wife and I have stayed here 4 times, and it's great every time. The cabins can be a little rustic, but we enjoy that quirk. Plus, with their prices, and being dog friendly, they just can't be beat!

The weather is nice and the cabin is perfect. The kids love the playground ever year we come and the staff is always friendly. Wi-Fi speeds are good all over the property which helps kids wind down after a long day of hiking to stream Netflix so they can relax. We love the hammock as well. Safeway is just up the street for groceries so you can stay in and cook if you like.

I stayed here for a weekend I really enjoyed the place! Trees shade trails. It’s a very fun hanging around the campfire it gave it a small community feel. I really dig the lights at night I really wanted to ask the owner how much for the old truck but besides that it was a great place to get away from

Cozy cabin resort in the pines. The cabin was super clean, and comfortable with the right amount of amenities to stay comfortably. Close to restaurants and trail's. I had a fun stay and would highly recommend.

Feels secluded,yet near everything. Cabins are separate from each other and quiet with pine trees all around. Some cabins had skylights, ours Had a walk out deck and a hot tub in the bathroom. Have been there 2 times now and will probably go again in 6 months.

Stayed a couple of nights with family. We stayed in cabin 8. Perfect for us. Very clean beds were good and super quiet. Lots of birds and nature. Best part, there's a trailhead right there. The only thing I would change would be...Have a handheld shower nozzle for taller people. Other than that the owner is super friendly and the cabins are super charming! Great place to relax and unwind.

We stayed in Cabin 1. Very cute place with very friendly caretakers. Would definitely go back again. Richard and I enjoyed our stay. They only thing is it was difficult to find at night. Sign set a little back and dark.

This place is my vacation in the woods go to. They have newer cabins with A C units, spa shower tubs/ baths. and rustic cabins without. I would say, our cabin we just stayed at could use new privacy blinds, maybe an extra fan. The beauty when your there is something to enjoy, you look out, see, hear, smell, feel the woods all around you. they have 15 cabins, I believe. They are the nicest people. the owners, Ray and Liz, office manager Lola. Maintence Raul, and the house keepers, sorry names dropped my mind. all are the best people. This place is just on the edge of a public national park. With driving trails, and hiking trails horse trails . Lake near by. I would say its very dark at night when driving or walking around, makes it hard to see where your going. Maybe some reflective stands for cars for the driveway, and parking ways. Maybe low lighted for walking around at night. Just ideas. But we will be back again. We love it here. This is the 2nd time staying here. Thank you to everyone.

Beautiful cabin, was perfect for my anniversary. I booked on Verbo and the front desk associate, Lola, was phenomenal. Her energy was definitely contagious. Will absolutely be booking again.

Great experience! I enjoyed the stay and the great accommodations they made for us. I will be recommending this place to others for the overall environment and welcoming interactions with the owner!

Most cabins are nice and newly remodeled. A few need some work (we rented out nearly all of them). The hosts are very helpful and welcoming and let our party have the run of the place. The entrance is hard to spot and the traffic can make it difficult to enter and exit the park at least to my small town eyes.

I have stayed "nearby" may times and your cabin was so much better maintained and equipped - dramatically better in the kitchen and bathrooms. The art and choice of covers make a big difference. And the BBQ was so new and clean I could actually use it.
Technically, having gas for the FP and the BBQ allowed year round use - a real benefit.
Couple of suggestions from an old architect....
Remove the 5000k/daylight bulbs and only use 3000/2700k bulbs. A cabin wants to feel warm and cozy.
When you replace the furniture, avoid the oversized chairs, sofas, and...bar height tables? The cabins are comfortably sized but overly large furniture makes them feel crowded and hard to move around in.
Look forward to returning in the spring.

Wonderful place. Highly recommend. Only would add that quiet curfew hours be added. Neighboring guests were extremely loud and obnoxious until 1 am. No concern or care for others. Even when told to quiet down.

I have been coming here for probably 15-20 years. Came for about 5 years in a row with my wife. We would usually come off-season, mid to end of September or October. We would walk around the lake and try to get a selfie of us sitting on the same park bench. Started that tradition in 2012 or 2013. Last time we went was probably 2-3 years ago. I love the White Mountains.

Hostess was so kind, helpful and knew the area very well and assisted with us having the best experience. Very clean & comfortable cabins with everything you need for an enjoyable weekend getaway.

Wonderful location!

Just returned from this beautiful location. Owners are friendly and wonderful. Cabins are clean and nestled in the trees like you would expect. Cabins and decks are spacious. Kitchen is full size including the refridgerator. The price is equal to or lower than most places I researched.
Only suggestion I have would be to replace the mattresses (bed is hard and springy).
Planning to go again.

This is a nice place to have a base camp. It has kitchen facilities, nice Kramer shower and cable tv. Good hiking trails. Lots to do in pinetop.

Great cozy place in the pines. Looks like plenty of Phoenix families are escaping the heat. But it's warmer than usual here. We can only pray for one of those beautiful soothing rains.

I was not able to stay because of our circumstances but they where nicest people we had talked too and the most helpful. We thought we where tent camping but because of covid restrictions. And evem though they had no room they where nice and gave us helpful info.

We had a pleasant experience. Wish we could have stayed longer. Even though we ended up leaving early, it was totally worth it. The staff are extremely friendly and the location offers plenty of room for your kids to roam about to play. Also, veteran owned and operated. -Semper Fi
